| Commands tab |
- Categories list — Lists the available categories you can modify. These include New Menu, Folders, Documents, Tools, View, All Commands. Selecting one of these options displays the list of available commands in the Commands window.
- Commands list — Lists all the commands available to a selected category. These commands can be dragged to an existing toolbar using your mouse or dragged to a newly created toolbar to create a custom toolbar.
- Description — Displays a description of the selected command.

- Toolbars list — Displays the list of available toolbars. If an item has a check mark next to it, that means the respective toolbar is open in ProjectWise Explorer. You can turn toolbars on and off through this dialog, or by selecting the respective menu item on ProjectWise Explorer's View menu.
- Reset — Resets the selected toolbar to its default status, removing any customization.
- Reset All — Resets all the toolbars in the Toolbars window to their default status.
- New — Opens the Toolbar Name dialog, allowing you to create a new, custom toolbar. In the Toolbar Name dialog, type a name for your new toolbar and click OK. The new toolbar is automatically added to the list of available toolbars, and the toolbar itself opens. You can dock it just like any other ProjectWise toolbar. On this new toolbar, you can add custom commands using the Commands tab of the Customize dialog. If the Customize dialog is not open, you can right-click the custom toolbar and select Customize from the popup menu. For more information, see the section above about the Commands tab.
- Rename — If a custom toolbar is selected, opens the Toolbar Name dialog for you to rename the toolbar. You cannot rename the Standard or View toolbars.
- Delete — If a custom toolbar is selected, deletes the toolbar. You cannot delete the Standard or View toolbars.
- Show text labels — Displays the selected toolbars icon descriptions.

- Category — Displays all the available categories in the Category list.
- Commands — Lists all the commands available to a selected category.
- Description — Displays a description of the selected command.

Set Accelerator for
- Current keys — Displays the current keyboard keys associated to a selected command.
- Press New Shortcut Key — Placing your mouse cursor in this text field and pressing a key or combination of keys, for example, <Ctrl+Alt+F5>, makes the Assign button become available. This key combination can then be assigned to the selected command, thus making this command available using your chosen keyboard shortcut.
- Assign — Activates your new shortcut key or key combination.
- Remove — Removes the keyboard shortcut key or key combination from the selected command.
- Reset All — Removes all custom keyboard shortcuts from all commands in the selected category.

- Show Screen Tips on toolbars — Displays screen tips when the mouse cursor is placed over a command in a toolbar.
- Show shortcut keys in Screen Tips — Displays the associated keyboard shortcut when the mouse cursor is placed over a command in a toolbar.
